I am a fully trained and qualified Play Therapist since September 2013. I trained at the University of Roehampton (London). MA Play Therapy is a course accredited and governed by the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT). The training required personal psychotherapy and regular intensive supervision as a trainee therapist.

As a practising play therapist I undertake regular supervision to ensure the quality and relevance of my work. I also abide by the British Association of Play Therapists codes of ethics, standards and practice guidlines. My current play therapy practice takes place within primary schools and at my private practice. I am working on cases referred by social care services, adoption and fostering services and directly from parents/ guardians.

Prior to becoming a therapist I worked with children and families for over ten years in a varity of settings, including; schools, pre-schools, childrens centre, hospital child development centre, a women and childrens refuge (domestic violence) and privately with families of children with additional complex needs.

I hold a clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check.

I am a full member of The British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT). Membership no. 1088
